Course Description

In the midst of growing demand for mental health therapy, the use of and interest in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy has increased over the last decade. Both clients and therapists alike are seeking a therapeutic experience that is affirming, relational, and effective in helping them see the world and themselves differently. IFS is a compassion-based treatment approach that normalizes internal multiplicity, depathologizes clinical symptoms, and offers unconditional empowerment to clients as leaders of their healing.

This course will review the key components of the IFS therapeutic protocol to provide attendees with a basic understanding of the model. Using guided meditations, lectures, live demonstration, and experiential exercises, attendees will experience the IFS model from within to better understand how to use it with clients.

This course is designed for those who are new to the model, as well as those with a basic understanding who want to deepen their knowledge and further integrate IFS into their work.
