In-Person Participants Responses to the Question:
What did you like most about your experience at the Cape Cod Institute?

“This was my first time at the Institute. I loved the setting and appreciated the half day format. The format didn’t leave me feeling overwhelmed or oversaturated by the material; it helped me digest and metabolize the content and the experience. I very much enjoyed and deeply appreciated the workshop itself. I’m so glad I made the decision to come!”

“I love interacting with faculty and professionals in my field. It is a completely positive experience. I liked the opportunities to engage with colleagues at the social events that were planned.”

“The 3.5 hours x 5 days allowed for time to “digest” the information before learning more. Also, learning on the Cape with beautiful weather enhanced the experience.”

“I LOVE the Cape Cod Institute!! The staff is incredibly accessible and attentive and the instructors are always top in their respective fields. I have always come away with more knowledge and skill that I can implement in my work.”

“I thought the whole experience reflected a lot of care for the felt experience of the participants (ease of registration, signage, honoring breaks, special requests, extra-curricular offerings). ”

“Quite honestly, everything. Such a welcoming environment, challenging material, and knowledgeable presentations.”

"It was excellent on many levels: intellectual/academic, social, and experiential."

“ I really appreciated all of the small details that made the week of learning holistic and rejuvenating - from the healthy and delicious food prepared for breaks, gender affirming bathrooms (with good hand soap!) and the encouragement to take part in fun activities in afternoons/evenings. The whole experience was a delight."

“I’m grateful for the connections that I made with other people from around the country. It was wonderful to hear their perspectives and experiences.”
