  6. Distinguish the four states of AEDP in couple treatment

  7. Identify a signal of activation that points to unresolved trauma in one couple member

  8. Describe how a couple therapist can begin to regulate a bickering couple

  9. Discuss the importance of receptivity between couple members

  10. Build upon moments of connection between couple members

  11. Describe how unresolved trauma interferes with building a secure base between couple members

  12. Define metaprocessing

  13. Discuss the importance of metaprocessing shifts (small and large) between couple members that occur in the session
